About this evidence tier
This is a provisional editorial rating for the general practice, not proof that it treats a condition. Research citations will be attached after source-level review. Use the safety notes and judge the practice by your own tracked response.
The physiological sigh is the body's built-in off switch for stress. Breathe in through the nose, take a second sip of air before the lungs feel full, then exhale slowly through the mouth. One or two rounds can drop arousal within seconds.
